| Additional comments ... | With a background in commercial real estate and appraisal, I can spot a pro, and Karen is simply a top notch PRO. She understands to critical depths all the facets of a "good" real estate deal: people and their preferences, needs and capabilities, values vs. costs of rehabilitation, finances and lender issues, legal and title issues and overcoming low competence levels of other agents involved in the transaction. She knows what is needed to market a property well and how you will want to accurately present (as Seller) or evaluate (as Buyer) quirks or problems of a property. In our increasingly complicated world, whether you are selling or buying, if you want your road to a "good" real estate transaction paved and without pot holes, Karen is the PRO you want -- because of her wealth of knowledge and experience and because of her big heart. | Additional comments ... | Karen was an awesome help throughout our selling (and buying) experience. We appreciated her quick wit and sense of humor as well as her expertise and professionalism. She gave us advice that worked very well for us and she is a strong communicator. Many friends have told horror stories of realtors who do not return calls, but with Karen, we received constant communication and extremely prompt responses to everything. We were not selling a top dollar home but she treated us as if we were, always making our needs and concerns of utmost importance to her. Karen sold our house in a market where no others in our neighborhood were selling, and she went the extra mile in staging our house for free! Her negotiating skills are strong and she does whatever it takes (ethically and professionally) to represent her clients. I would unqualifyingly recommend Karen to buyers and sellers alike! |

| Additional comments ... | We have dealt with about a dozen real estate agents selling/buying houses, family property and have done thorough interviews with many more. Finally, we found Ms. McCarty. I'm not exaggerating when I say, she is our real estate agent for life. We refer her whenever possible. We will use her for any real estate needs, whether it involves selling our elderly parents' homes, looking for land for a retirement home for ourselves or other needs. Here's why: Above all, she is honest. She is professional. She will help you even after the sale. When my mom had hired a horrible agent to sell my dad's old business in west Texas and I felt like there was something wrong with the contract, Karen walked me through it saving us lots of money and ineptitude by telling me my rights as a seller and what the real estate agent was doing wrong. She did all of this just because she is a good person. There was no benefit to her whatsoever except for being helpful. I will never look for another agent as long as Karen is around. She has our highest recommendation. |

I appreciate her knowledge, professionalism and her willingness to fight for me and my family when we get to the negotiating table.
